BJP cleared its stand on the capital of Andhra Pradesh

At last, it looks like BJP has cleared many rumors. It announced its stand on the capital of AP. BJP clearly announced that it is opposing 3 Capitals proposal while extending solidarity to the farmers of Amaravati. After the Sankranti season only, there is going to be any decision regarding the plan of action getting taken. On Saturday, there was an AP BJP Core Committee Meeting in Guntur in which, BJP AP President Kanna Lakshminarayana, Mahila Morcha National Leader Purandeswari along with MPs Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh, GVL Narasimha Rao as well as State Party In-Charge Sunil Deodhar participated together.

They recommended Amaravati as the Administrative Capital of Andhra Pradesh in the resolution that passed in this meeting. This ensures establishment of the CM Camp Office, Secretariat, Assembly, Seed Capital and Raj Bhavan in Amaravati only, without any change. Vishnu Kumar Raju's views that were in favor of YCP Government's 3 Capitals Proposal were also taken into consideration in the discussion among the Core Committee.

Only after that, the party members came to the conclusion that the views of President will remain as the official stand of the Party. A fact that the Union Government won't interfere in the AP Capital issue and would remain neutral was also considered by GVL Narasimha Rao.
