Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is having a good relationship with Telangana CM K Chandra Sekhar Rao. From the water sharing policy to the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), the two Telugu states are aiding each other. But Chandra Babu reveals the real facts and questioned Jagan about his poor decision making which is causing huge loss to public exchequer and state.
Chandra Babu blasted on Jagan for purchasing power at the highest price ever. "After doing Hungama and a lot of negative propaganda on PPA's, Jagan administration has finally bought the thermal power at Rs 11.68 per unit even when Solar Power and Wind Power is being sold at Rs 3 per unit and Rs 4.84 per unit respectively. What is this?," Chandrababu shot at Jagan.
Naidu went on saying that Jagan has the option to buy coal from Odisha which is way 50% cheaper compared to what we receive from Telangana. Naidu questioned Jagan, "Why he opted KCR when coal is available at Rs 1600 per tonne at Mahanadi Coal Mines of Odisha?" Jagan has purchased Coal from Singareni at a price of Rs 3700 per tonne, which is more than the double cost of what one could get from Odisha.
Chandra Babu lashed out Jagan that the coal reserves must be kept in abundant but unfortunately, Jagan administration doesn't have such basic understanding. Without having any alternative action plan in place, CBN said that Jagan has pushed the AP people in darkness ending up burdening the state further.
