The TDP is in a great stun as a part of the senior chiefs moving into YSRCP. Now here comes an update that one of the TDP's senior head is quitting TDP. Chirala MLA Karanam Balaram has decided to quit the Telugu Desam Party for YSRCP.
As indicated by reports, TDP leader Karanam Balaram will join the YSRC party within the next few days. And he said to be meeting the party chief-CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy tomorrow or a day after. He will meet YSRCP chief and the Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy after a formal meet with TDP president Chandrababu Naidu.
Karanam Balaram served as MLA, MLC, and MP earlier from Prakasam district, while his electoral debut was from Addanki during Congress reign in 1977. Balaram held the position of MLA for 5 terms including the recent win at Chirala against his arch-rival Amanchi Krishna Mohan.
Balaram's exit from the party comes as a shocker to TDP with already other seniors like MLC Satish Reddy and Kadiri Babu Rao waves goodbye to the party to join YSRCP.
The entire YCP cadre is worrying about this recent update. During the 2014 elections, there are many issues, cases because of Balaram and his followers. At this moment, the local body elections are heading in the state soon. Due to Balaram's entry into YCP, YCP members and leaders seems to be unhappy.
