Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Basant Soren on Tuesday said that the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance will form the government in Jharkhand in two to three days. "People had decided what they have thought. Citizens had...removed the corrupted and arrogant government," he added.
The Congress-JMM-RJD alliance will form the government in Jharkhand after securing a required majority of at least 41 seats in the state Assembly elections. Meanwhile, BJP, which had formed government in the state with allies in 2014, has currently won 21 seats and is leading in four seats. RJD's Tejashwi Yadav said Hemant Soren will be the state's, Chief Minister.
Meanwhile, Jharkhand caretaker Chief Minister Raghubar Das, who has never lost in state Assembly election in 24 years, has lost from Jamshedpur-East by a margin of 15,833 votes. Das had defeated by Independent candidate and former BJP leader Saryu Roy. Roy contested as an Independent candidate after he was denied a BJP ticket from his seat Jamshedpur-West in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district.
