Telangana's government has decided to continue the village progress program, KCR said. While he was addressing the Telangana legislature, he said "We have decided to plant 23 crores to 54 crore plants by 2020-21 in villages. We have decided to increase the standard of living of the people in the villages".

KCR said dumping yards were set up in villages. We have set up 4 standing committees in each village panchayat. He said that the government's aim was to develop the villages. He said that the caste occupations are doing well.
