Finally, a BJP leader speaks on three capital bill

There have been many political leaders commenting on the recent developments in the Andhra Pradesh politics. YSRCP government got a huge shock in the legislative council regarding the three capitals bill. At such peak movement, BJP Rajya Sabha MP, TG Venkatesh asked Jagan to make Amaravati the second capital of India, if he really wants to do, good for the state.

Initially, TG Venkatesh said that if Jagan wants to shift the capital from Amaravati, he has to first satisfy the demands of Amaravati farmers and convince them over this. While his comments are unexpected, there seems to be no one taking these comments seriously. TG Venkatesh also reiterated Dr. BR Ambedkar’s words of making a second capital in South India.

By saying so, he asked Jagan to talk to PM Modi and make Amaravati, that second capital. He added that it becomes difficult for the people of Rayalaseema if the Secretariat is set in Vizag. By saying this, he suggested Jagan set a mini secretariat in Kurnool along with high court and high court bench in Vizag while also converting the high court in Amaravati into a bench.

He even recalled his demands made during Bifurcation in 2014. He said they asked the holding of winter and summer assembly sessions in Kurnool which have been not considered by anyone.
