More than ten states have locked down until March 31. The Janata curfew was adopted to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Two Telugu states … Andhra Pradesh and Telangana announced lockdown. The Central govt announced on Sunday that it would lock down 75 districts because of the virus. States have taken steps to curb the pandemic. KCR passed the 1897 Act and the state of Telangana declared a lockdown. That is, they closed the interstate boundaries initially. Vehicles from other states are not allowed into Telangana. Officials are strictly still working on this.
They are allowing only the goods which are essential. The Railways have already canceled all passenger trains nationwide till March 31. Thirteen states have announced a lockdown until 31st. Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Punjab, Delhi, Nagaland, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh have taken the decision. To this extent, the collectors of those districts have instructed on Sunday by KCR. The curfew will continue until March 31 in 75 districts.
All except the emergency services in these districts are bound. However, travel was greatly reduced due to lockdown and corona fear. The demand for travel has dropped drastically. In the wake of the lockdown, many districts have bundled up except for emergency and emergency services. The decision was taken at a meeting with the chief secretaries of all states, Prime Minister Modi and Principal Secretaries, headed by the Cabinet Secretary.
