High alert at the borders as drone enters Punjab from Pakistan

Security agencies have confirmed that arms and ammunition were sent across the border into Punjab by Pakistan using the Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) network between September 9 and 16 in eight sorties.

Security forces along the Pakistan border in Punjab have reportedly put on alert. After officials spotted a drone entering the Indian side from Pakistan on Monday night. This comes weeks after reports claimed Pakistani drones dropped 80 kg of weapons in Punjab in at least eight sorties.

 
Security agencies have confirmed that arms and ammunition sent across the border into Punjab by Pakistan. By using the Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) network between September 9 and 16 in eight sorties. Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh also raised the issue with the Centre.
 
“Last night between 2200 hrs to 2240 hrs, 136 Battalion of the border security force in Hussainiwala Joint Check Post area had sited drone type objects 5 times. Four times inside Pak side only, while one time the object seen entering Indian side up to about one kilometre”. Revealed official sources on condition of anonymity.
 
The entire consignment supported by Pakistan’s spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence. Its orchestrated through Germany and Lahore, sources in intelligence agencies had said.
