Earlier, last month, the Andhra Pradesh government has given permission for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the graft cases lodged against the central government employees earlier.
Now, the AP cabinet meeting in today’s meeting has concluded and the state government has decided to go for a thorough investigation into the allegations of Insider-Trading of Amaravati lands. In this meeting, CM YS Jagan informed the cabinet that it is not possible to build construct with thousands of crore Rupees and Vizag can get made with just ten percent of Amaravati estimates but there is no rush to shift the capital immediately.
The inquiry will be on the land purchases happened before December 31st, 2014 and we have identified who all have bought lands. YSRCP is deliberate to go for investigation with CBI or Loka Yukta or CID. A final call on this will get taken soon based on the expert's committee advise.
