It is well known that AP Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy had earlier directed the concerned officials to look after the process of shifting the capital as well as to start the search for an appropriate building to hold the office.
However, it looks like the YSRCP government has got a great shock as the High Court got furious over the government as it had tried to shift the vigilance office to Kurnool. High court asked the Government, on what basis they are shifting the offices to Kurnool? It reminded them that such as the case is still pending in the court.
Defending the government’s actions, the advocate general told that the office is being shifted to Kurnool only to ease the governance. He requested the High Court to grant some time to counter file. However, the high court had declined this. The High Court had already issued a stay order on the shifting of capital till February 26 and the case that had filed by the farmers of the Amaravati region which is opposing the G.O No 13 will hear tomorrow.
