Jagan takes a step forward in Special Status issue to AP!
Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is too busy since he took oath as the Chief Minister. By updating and implementing one after other he mentioned in 'Navarathnalu’, he continues ti impress AP people. Now, he is after the most discussed political issue in Andhra Pradesh, Special Status and the BJP promised to the state few years back.
Jagan met Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday to discuss the issue of special category status to his state. "I met Home Minister to try and prevail upon him and also soften PM's heart on special category status," he said after meeting. Reddy added he will raise this issue in Niti Aayog's meeting on Saturday.
The CM also discussed with the Home Minister other contentious issues with Telangana and possible solutions for the same. Reddy reportedly informed the Home Minister about the issues of sharing of river waters and division of assets and liabilities among others between the two Telugu-speaking states.
Till now, to what extent Shah has responded is yet to be known and if Jagan can achieve Special status to AP, he will be unstoppable in the upcoming days.
