Jagan, being a clever politician, is aware of the importance of maintaining good ties with the BJP especially after witnessing the fate of Chandrababu Naidu.
We all are aware of the dilemma on the extending support from the BJP to Jagan Mohan Reddy in the recent past. During the elections, it seemed that the Modi and Jagan got composed of good ties but by time, it went more complicated.
Most recent, Amit Shah’s way of troubling Jagan for his appointment raised many eyebrows. Now, to get some clarity on this angle, all are waiting for the BJP’s stand on the ongoing 'AP Capital Shift' turmoil. There has been a divisive approach from AP BJP since Jagan proposed the three-capital concept for the state.
Now, Kanna Lakshminarayana declared that BJP opposes the shift of capital from Amaravati to Visakhapatnam. The BJP President told, 'Capital issue is strictly under the control of State Government. Centre will intervene if the State Holders or State Government bring the capital issue to its notice. Assembly & Secretariat has to be at one location. PM laid the foundation stone. Central Funds had spent on the structures built in Amaravati. Our intention is to ensure Amaravati remains as AP Capital’.

Hence with the words of Kanna, YCP Govt may set up both Assembly & Secretariat in Visakha itself. To please the ego of the center, he may establish Assembly & Secretariat in Amaravati and everything else in Visakha.
However, the words uttered by Kanna Lakshmi Narayana will sharpen Jagan’s tactics who need definite support from the center to suppress the opposition on the capital shift.
