PM Narendra Modi has removed the prefix 'Chowkidar' from his Twitter name, urging all others to do the same. 'Now, the time has come to take the Chowkidar Spirit to the next level. Keep this spirit alive at every moment and continue working for India’s progress. The word ‘Chowkidar’ goes from my Twitter name but it remains an integral part of me. Urging you all to do the same too,' he tweeted.
"The people of India became Chowkidars... Chowkidar has become a powerful symbol to safeguard India from the evils of casteism, communalism, corruption and cronyism," he further said.
Modi, he retained his power with the unanimous majority at the center with a 300+seats majority, the BJP is going to the Government as the largest single party in the country.
Meanwhile, so many prominent leaders across the world including Afghanistan, Nepal, and Bhutan congratulated him as PM Narendra Modi claimed victory in LS poll. "
Afghanistan looks forward to expanding cooperation in pursuit of peace and prosperity," tweeted President Ashraf Ghani. Nepal's PM KP Sharma Oli tweeted, "I look forward to working with you," while Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck called to congratulate PM.
