Naidu trying to shed the image of TDP as 'Kamma Party'

Looks like Naidu has come up with one more solution to retain his position in politics which in these days was seeing a gradual downfall. It is being said that, while reviewing the reasons for its loss in assembly elections, many TDP leaders have combinedly opined that one of the reasons for their defeat was its image as Kamma Party.

They said that many of the voters in AP felt that Babu had only developed the Kamma people in past five years of his governance which is why an image of Kamma had been ascertained with to by the public. As everyone felt that TDP was a Kamma Party, voters belonging to all other castes supported YSRCP which led to TDP’s defeat. They said Naidu that Kamma image of TDP had led to the damage of prospects of TDP.

By this Naidu now seems to have concentrated on shedding the Kamma image from the party. Naidu now seems to be claiming that TDP is not at all a Kamma Party. In support of his statement, Naidu said that if it was a Kamma Party, then it would also have lost in Kuppam. He added that 2 lakh voters are there in Kuppam out of which only 1000 votes belong to Kamma caste.

He even said that only because even the non-Kamma people supported him, he had won in Kuppam for a 7th consecutive term. It is being said that Naidu had asked his party members too to present such a scenario in their constituencies.
