Former IT Minister of the Andhra Pradesh, Nara Lokesh got arrested in Vijayawada by the Police. While he was on his way to participate in the ongoing protest in the Capital Region, he got detained along with some key leaders of the TDP.
Last time, the Police curbed the 'Chalo Atmakuru' rally of the CBN and his son successfully. The father-son duo was house arrested then and they failed to utilize the opportunity for any political mileage. Now, Lokesh has to think of his political future and his party’s position in the state.
But, no drama took place in Lokesh’s arrest like the previous house arrest which is a disappointing factor in the TDP’s political arrests. Even Chandrababu wishes Nara Lokesh to go aggressive but this young leader is not up to mark.
Along with Lokesh, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani was also under house arrest as precautionary actions by the cops as they thought that the MP joining the protests will escalate the political temperature. Galla and his followers attempted a failed try to get out of the house, the cops stopped them and locked the main gate.
This is the hight time for TDP to prove their mettle and to retaliate in the favor of the Amaravati farmers as Jagan is inching closer to bring his three capital idea for Andhra Pradesh into force.
