Gianna Bryant has been killed in the helicopter crash along with her father, NBA legend Kobe Bryant and three others.

NBA legend Kobe Bryant killed in Air Crash, Indian celebrities pay respect

Five-time NBA champion and 18-time NBA All-Star Kobe Bryant and four others got killed when his private helicopter crashed along a hillside near Calabasas in California. The cause of the crash is under investigation. The 41-year-old played for Los Angeles Lakers from 1996 to 2016 and also won two Olympic gold medals (2008 and 2012) with US national team.

 
Gianna Bryant got killed in the helicopter crash along with her father, NBA legend Kobe Bryant and three others. Kobe and the 13-year-old were on their way to Mamba Academy for basketball practice when their helicopter crashed in California's Calabasas. Kobe survived by his wife Vanessa and their three other daughters- Natalia, Bianka and Capri. 
 
Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra on Monday condoled the demise of NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. "What you've done for so many kids including my niece whom you inspired to play basketball every day of her childhood, may you both comfort each other in Heaven," Akshay wrote. "Kobe...was my first real introduction to the NBA," Priyanka wrote. 
 
Actress Lara Dutta Bhupathi took to Twitter to pay a tribute to NBA legend Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash. Sharing a picture of herself with Kobe, Lara wrote, "Heartbreaking to wake up to news like this...He had no clue who this basketball loving bollywood actress was, but he was warm, he was funny and he was inclusive."
