Parliament goes raging after Veterinarian Disha’s rape, Venkaiah Naidu feels guilty

In today’s parliament session, the national leaders demanded a proper and quick justice for the Veterinarian doctor Disha’s (name changed) rape and wanted to discuss it on zero hours.

While speaking about the gang-rape and murder of the 27-year-old Hyderabad veterinarian, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, "No act could be as inhuman as this incident." "Such gruesome acts have been happening continuously...Lawmakers across party lines have condemned the incident...the government is ready to make necessary changes in the provisions for making strictest law," he added.

Speaking about the incident, Venkaiah Naidu called it a disgrace to society and the value system. “We should see why such things are happening and we should look for remedial measures. I would want all of you to make suggestions.”

Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu says, "No mercy should be given to rapists. No new bill, but political will is required. We should have nipped in the bud already. It's too late already."
