PM Modi fires on the opposition over CAA protests in a rally in Delhi

While addressing people at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan, PM Narendra Modi asked the crowd to stand up and respect Parliament for the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. Accusing rival political parties of creating fear and chaos, and trying to defame India abroad, PM Modi said, "We've never asked anyone if he goes to temple or mosque when it comes to implementing schemes."

The PM added, "My rivals should burn my effigy if they hate me but they should not mislead the people on Citizenship Amendment Act." "Rumours are getting spread that Muslims will get sent to detention centers," he said. "I challenge those spreading lies to find anything discriminatory in any of my works," PM Modi added.

"There is a very simple difference, an infiltrator never reveals his identity and a refugee never hides his identity." "Many of these infiltrators are coming out and speaking. Why don't they speak the truth? They got scared that their reality will come out," PM Modi concluded.
