Many vehicle owners use ‘police’, ‘press’, ‘judge’, or ‘MLA’ stickers to avoid paying traffic tickets or parking charges, but the thing this Hyderabad has done simply left the police stunned.
The car owner displayed ‘AP CM Jagan’, not as a sticker but as permanent iron plates in place of the number plates in the front and rear parts of his vehicle. They have issued the FIR in Crime No. 761/19, U/s 420, 210 IPC at the Jeedimetla police station. As per the MV acts, nothing except the registration number of the vehicle should display on the number plates of the vehicles. Those who violate the MV Act are subject to punishment.
M. Hari Rakesh, a native of East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, told the police that he did this to get an exemption from payment of toll tax and checking by traffic police. The B.Tech graduate says to be staying in Kukatpally. The vehicle's registration is in the name of Yesu Reddy of Kotavari Veedi, Raparthi, Pithapuram, East Godavari. Police have booked a case against the owner.
