While the leader of the opposition, Chandra Babu Naidu is staging protests and yelling in the series of media conferences against the ruling YSRCP’s decision of the decentralization of capitals for Andhra Pradesh, several TDP leaders are having their own meetings in support to Jagan.
MLAs Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu, Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar and P Gana Venkata Reddy Naidu (Gana Babu), MLCs Duvvarapu Rama Rao, P Chalapati Rao, and Buddha Naga Jagadeeswara Rao, former MLAs SA Rahman and V Anitha and others met at a hotel in the city on Tuesday and resolved to support the proposal of the YSRC government to set up executive capital of the State in Vizag.
There is no information to which extent Naidu knows about this meeting but this news will definitely irk the TDP supremo. This is an unexpected political development amid ongoing protest against the three capitals idea. However, the TDP leaders asked the Government to give clarity on the future of farmers of the Amaravati region, who gave 33,000 acres of land for the development of the capital.
What if Jagan returns those lands to the farmers? TDP backs YSRCP’s three capitals idea? Time will definitely tell us.
