Despite facing a lot of criticism on appointing a Grama volunteer for every 50 families in the villages, Jagan was lauded for his brave decision. This has provided many unemployed people a job to earn something for their families. But, along with the good, it has its own cons.
There have been many complaints about gram volunteers in just a month. Jagan said that any illegal activities from the Grama volunteers can be directly reported to the CM Office through a Toll-Free Number. Now, three of the Grama volunteers were suspended for taking 'Dusshera Mamoollu' from the people.
They ruined their opportunity to serve people with a decent job. In Rudravaram, Krishna District, three Grama Volunteers named Vijay Varma, Sunil Kumar, Vanaja took money from pension holders in the name of 'Dusshera Mamoollu'.
Their guilty proved and removed from their posts. Three other people will replace their positions and this is an alert for other Grama Volunteers who are insisting to take bribes from the common people.
