BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, while announcing his decision to resign as Maharashtra CM days after taking over the post, in a press conference on Tuesday said, "We had decided that we will never indulge in horse-trading, we will never try to break away any MLA." Fadnavis added, "Those who said that we indulge in horse-trading bought the entire horse stable."
"The hunger for power is such that now Shiv Sena leaders are even willing to ally with Sonia Gandhi," he added. Alleging that Shiv Sena did not respond to NDA for a long time, Fadnavis said that Shiv Sena talked to Congress-NCP instead.
Devendra Fadnavis said, "I doubt that this three-wheeler government (Congress-Shiv Sena-NCP) will be stable." "But BJP will work as an effective opposition and try to raise the voice of people," he said. "It will be a very unstable government as there is a huge difference of opinions," he said.
