BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has said that the tickets for the first four days of India's first-ever Day-Night Test (pink ball Test) against Bangladesh in Kolkata's Eden Gardens had sold out.
"I am extremely happy about it," he added. The match will begin on November 22. Eden Gardens has a seating capacity of 67,000.
The Day-Night match in Kolkata will begin at 1:00 pm according to the Indian standard time and will end by 8.00 PM.
The hosts outplayed the Tigers in the first game of the Test series and defeated them by a margin of an inning and 130 runs. It was a one-sided affair in Indore where Virat Kohli and Co. won the game on Day-3 of the 1st Test match. And, now they are preparing for the final and landmark game in Kolkata.
The match will get the attendance of a long list of Indian sportspersons, who have represented the country at the international circuit in past. During a 20 minute break in the match, quite a few former captains could get spotted on the carts alongside boundary taking rounds, followed by the next break in which Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has organized a talk show in which the Indian ‘Fabulous Five’ i-e- Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, and Anil Kumble will talk about their epic Test win over Australia in 2001.
