Here is a classic example of US President Donald Trump rushing out a tweet, then thinking the better of it and deleting the post. Guess what it was about? Kashmir… US President Donald Trump deleted a tweet where he expressed a hope that India and Pakistan will resolve Kashmir “quickly”.
Following the Trumps meeting with Pakistan PM Imran Khan on Monday. Trump again offered to mediate between India and Pakistan on Kashmir issue if both the countries agree to it. India has maintained that Kashmir is a bilateral issue. This says to be most correct and incorrect tweets of the day from across the political spectrum.
PM Modi received a rousing welcome in Houston and Congress thought it had got the better of him with photographs of an even warmer reception received by Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi during a visit to the US. One small problem, though: the picture was not from the US visit. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor first retweeted the photograph and then acknowledged the mistake.
