Team Indian skipper Virat Kohli is in the form of his life and has been exceptional in all the three formats of the game. This World No.1 batsman hasn’t played many T20Is recently till the West Indies series. And now, with a dominating performance in the series, he managed to creep back to where he belongs.
 
Team India captain Virat Kohli, who scored 183 runs in the three-match series against West Indies and won Man of the Series award, has jumped five places to enter into the top 10 of the latest rankings for batsmen. Team India opener Rohit Sharma dropped one place to ninth, while KL Rahul jumped three places to the sixth position.
 
Virat Kohli, who is the joint highest run-scorer in T20Is with Rohit Sharma, made 94 not out in Hyderabad before falling for 19 in Thiruvananthapuram. With the series on the line, Kohli came out all guns blazing to smash an unbeaten 70 off only 29 balls.
 
Virat Kohli is the only batsman with averages in excess of 50 in all 3 international formats. In 84 Tests, Kohli has scored 7202 runs at 54.97. Moreover, in 239 ODIs, Kohli has smashed several records to score 11520 runs at 60.30. Virat Kohli has so far played 75 T20Is and has 2633 runs under his belt at an average of 52.66.
