West Bengal BJP chief refuses to let Ambulance pass through rally

West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh on Monday refused to let an ambulance pass through a road in Krishnanagar, Nadia where he was addressing a rally on the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.

Dilip Ghosh heavily criticized by the Netizens for this act. Ghosh was addressing a public meeting in Nadia, which was being attended by a couple of hundred supporters. While the meeting was underway on the main road, an ambulance approached seeking way to a hospital. The BJP state chief, visibly angry at the interference and gestured the ambulance to move back and take another route instead of asking his supporters to give way.

"Divert the route of the ambulance as hundreds of people are sitting here," Ghosh said. He alleged that it was a tactic by the TMC to disrupt his rally. He argued that the ambulance could have taken a different route instead of the road where he was holding the small rally.
