A man recently attacked TDP leaders Buddha Venkanna and Bonda Umamaheswara Rao. He rammed a wooden pole into the car’s window.
The incident reportedly occurred as the leaders were entering Macherla, Guntur district. They were on their way to the police station to file a complaint on alleged obstructions by the YSRCP. They tried to stop the TDP candidates while trying to file their nomination for the upcoming local body polls in the state.
In the wake of these developments, the situation has changed in the Krishna and Guntur districts of Andhra Pradesh. In particular, the challenges of the MLA of YSRCP - Government Whip Pinnelly Ramakrishna Reddy, and former MLA Bonda Uma - are coming up. This caused a great deal of tension between the two parties.
Now the victim, former MLA Bonda Uma, has expressed outrage over the actions of the ruling party YSRCP. He declared that he was ready to face the ruling party. In regard to ZPTC - MPTC positions, the YSRCP, he alleged, is allowing irregularities. In a similar vein, he announced that he would once again go to Palnadu. Bonda Umamaheswara Rao challenged that this time he would go to Mancharla as an independent. More than 200 YSRCP leaders and activists have been outraged by the attack on the two leaders. Bonda Uma said that the leaders of the ruling party should resist him if they had the courage. It seems clear that he will go to Macharla to pay their debt.
Macharla MLA - Whip Pinnelly Ramakrishna Reddy has criticized Bonda Uma for instigating party rivalries in the Palnadu area. Bonda Uma, he said, can tour the entire Palnadu area, and the ruling party would not have any issues. Pinelly asked Bonda Uma not to involve himself in provocative attempts to create clashes.
