In recent assembly sessions there had been a debate regarding the differences between Jagan's way of working and the way of working Chandra Babu Naidu had shown in the previous regime. Jagan and many of his MLAs stated that even they could have done to TDP what it had done to YSRCP in the previous regime by snatching YSRCP 23 MLAs.
But that might show no difference in the governance of Babu and Jagan. During those war of words, Kotam Reddy Sridhar Reddy said that 8 TDP MLAs were in touch with YSRCP and would jump into YSRCP by evening if Jagan accepts. He added that since two months TDP's Rajya Sabha MP was in touch with them. Kotam Reddy also said that all those willing to jump into YSRCP are asking for tickets for next elections, which was yet to be decided by their party.
He added that most of the TDP MLAs are in an opinion that TDP has no future in politics. Responding to this, TDP MLA Payyavula Keshav demanded Kotam Reddy to reveal the names of those willing to join YSRCP. He even warned his party members that all these were the mind games of YSRCP and Jagan and asked his party members not to fall into their trap. Keshav also criticized the governor’s speech saying that there was no mentioning about development and capital city. He said that it was not the governor's speech and instead it was Nava Ratnalu speech.
