Chiranjeevi’s film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy movie registered all time top two day one collection in Telugu states.
After a hiatus, Megastar Chiranjeevi is back to silver screen with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which released on October 2. The film is doing well at box-office in most places, but is also struggling in few areas.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy opened to sensational collections at box-office in AP/TS. The film registered all time top two (Non BB2) day one openings in Telugu states.
October 2 was a public holiday and the theatres had six shows in Andhra Pradesh. This has ensured that Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has opened to huge collections at the box office. The film also missed a great opportunity to become Top 1 opening in Telugu states due to poor release plan, delay in opeing the advance bookings, and War getting equal good number of screens in cities.
Telugu films have been doing underwhelming business at box-office in the US in the recent days. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has failed to cross the $1 million mark collections from the premiere shows. The film should earn Rs 18 crore to seek profits. Since the word of mouth is positive, the film is expected to make progress soon at box-office.

In a surprising response, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has been getting overwhelming response at box-office from Bengaluru. The Kannada and the Telugu version have been doing well in all the theatres. It is said that the two versions rights of the film have been bought for Rs 27 crore. The film is off solid start in Karnataka.
Tamil Nadu and Kerala:
Sye Raa had decent opening day collections in Tamil Nadu and Kerala for respective versions. With good talk the film is expected to do well over the weekend.
In North belt, Sye Raa is having stiff competition at box-office with Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff War. Ideally, the Sye Raa team should have drafted aggressive promotions in Hindi to cover the audience. However, it looks like the makers have underestimated the Hindi market. On its opening day, Sye Raa has managed to rake in Rs 2.5 crore Nett collections for Hindi version.
