With their combined stardom and fanbase, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's film War started on a high note yesterday at the box office. Theatres all around the country were full of fans waiting in anticipation to watch their favourite stars battle it out in a face-off.
Earning phenomenally on in its very first day at the big screen, War garnered Rs 53.35 crore (Hindi+ Tamil, Telugu). Becoming the highest grossing film in a period of a single day. Even managing to beat Avengers Endgame, which earned about 53.10 crores on its opening day.
The film's fantastic performance was also due to its opening on a national holiday. Commenting on his film, director Siddharth Anand also expressed happiness and gratitude to his fans.
While some film critics questioned the film's many loopholes, almost all of them praised the film for delivering on its promised non-stop action. Utilizing the potential of the two stars, the film seems to have achieved what it was going for. And we hope it continues to do well at the big screen over the next few weeks.
