Alia Bhatt and
Ranbir Kapoor are Bollywood's most popular couple. Since their first appearance together at
Sonam Kapoor's wedding in 2016, they are the most talked about in B-town. Their fans and friends alike eagerly wait for them to tie the knot, supposedly in December. In the meanwhile, we get some glimpse into projects which features both of them together. Recently, they were in a short film helmed by Prasoon Pandey titled 'Family'. Along with Bhatt and Kapoor, the film also stars big names like
Amitabh Bachchan, Diljit Dosanjh,
Priyanka Chopra Jonas,
Rajinikanth, and several others.
Due to the lockdown, the film is a compilation of shots from the actors and actresses in their respective houses. It brings out the importance of social distancing in curbing this virus. Pandey directed and conceptualized this film.
Pandey also revealed a few deets about the short film and the Brahmastra couple. In an interview, she said they went behind the camera to help with each other's parts in the film. That confirms how both of them are spending this quarantine together. A while back, their fans were swooning over a video of them walking their dog together. Alia Bhatt also took to Instagram to share photos of Ranbir's dog. The fans were touched by this adorable gesture.
With the pandemic on full swing, everything is on hold at the work front. Bhatt and Kapoor were busy filming Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra when the mass quarantine got announced. It will be a fantasy drama. Bhatt is also working for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. It is an adaptation from Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi. She will also be working in
RRR by SS Rajamouli.
