Another Major International Recognition For RRR

Director SS Rajamouli's RRR is taking the entire world by storm, with audiences everywhere being enchanted by the story, performances, and direction of the film. The film recently received the Golden Globe award for Best Original Song, for Naatu Naatu. The film has now received another international award, from the Japanese community this time. RRR won the 46th Japan Academy Award for Outstanding Foreign Film this year, beating the likes of Avatar 2 and other major international films this year. This is a huge achievement for the film as well, as no other Indian film has ever gotten that recognition.

Director SS Rajamouli met with several internationally acclaimed directors during his international trip. This included meeting directors like Steven Spielberg and James Cameron. The latter even offered to discuss making Hollywood films with Rajamouli.

Rajamouli and the team of RRR are now gearing up for this year's Oscar awards. NTR is in the top ten list and can potentially get a Best Actor nomination. If this happens, then that would be another major record. NTR's potential nomination would be the first of its kind for Indian cinema and create history.

Naatu Naatu is also expected to get nominated and get the Oscar for Best Original Song. After the awards season is done, Rajamouli will return to India. Once he is back, he will begin working on Superstar Mahesh Babu's film. The film is going to be an action-adventure. It is expected to be made on a grand scale, one that has never been attempted in India before.
