Mammootty is the megastar of Malayalam cinema and is doing back-to-back films, especially in the last few years. One of his films, Bheeshma Parvam made big money at the box office and also marked the Malayalam debut of Telugu anchor and actress Anasuya.
The film is in the news ever since it was released and as per the inside info, none other than Ram Charan has bought the remake rights of the film for a fancy price. The scripting for the remake has also started and a young team has been assigned by Chiranjeevi.
Megastar Chiranjeevi himself will be seen in the lead role in this film. The original directed by Amal Neerad was inspired by the Hollywood classic The Godfather and the Indian epic Mahabharatha.
Bheeshma Parvam is a gangster drama centered around a joint family with Mammootty playing the patriarch. A young Telugu director has been brought on board and his name will be announced soon. Chiranjeevi will once again be seen in a mature role in this film.
