Chiranjeevi remembers Dasari Narayana Rao on his birth anniversary

Iconic director Dasari Narayana Rao is often considered as the guru of Telugu cinema. Many current directors and aspiring directors got inspired by the movies made by Dasari. In a career spanning over four decades, Dasari has made more than 150 movies. Most of them were blockbusters at the box office. Megastar Chiranjeevi also shares a good bonding with Dasari Narayana Rao. Today is the birth anniversary of this legendary director. On this occasion, Chiranjeevi posted a heartwarming tweet on Dasari on Twitter.

Chiranjeevi's tweet stated, "దా..దానంలో కర్ణుడుమీరు స..సమర్ధతలో అర్జునుడుమీరు రి..రిపువర్గమేలేని ధర్మరాజుమీరు మీరు మా మధ్య లేకపోయినా మీ స్ఫూర్తి ఎప్పుడూ సజీవంగానే వుంటుంది. ప్రతీ భావిదర్శకుడి జీవితానికి మార్గదర్శకమవుతుంది. (You were as generous as Karna. You were as capable as Arjuna. You were as rightful as Dharma Raju. Even you are not among us, your inspiration will always be with us. You will be an icon for every aspiring director). This was my last memory of Guruvu garu. We miss u Sir #LastPressmeet #Dasari." The picture got clicked during the last meeting of Chiranjeevi and Dasari in 2017. Both of them worked together for the film Lankeshwarudu. This was also the 100th film of Dasari Narayana Rao. The film featured Revathi, Mohan Babu and Radha in the other important roles. After this film, Chiru and Dasari never got a chance to do another film together. Meanwhile, they used to be active in all the film-related events and remained as one of the strong pillars of the Telugu film industry. Not only Chiru, but many other Telugu film celebrities have remembered Dasari on his birth anniversary. The legendary director passed away in 2017 due to a prolonged illness.
