Telugu film industry always had a father-figure in the form of Dasari Narayana Rao. The veteran director used to be the godfather for the entire Tollywood. He used to solve all the problems and everyone used to listen to him. Unfortunately, Tollywood lost such a father figure after his demise. Now, it looks like Megastar Chiranjeevi has filled that void.

Chiranjeevi is the go-to guy to solve any issues in Movie Artists Association (MAA) or the film chamber. We have seen how he resolved the issue between Rajashekhar and Naresh recently. Now, he is also taking an active part in helping people during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Chiru was the first one to cancel his film's shoot due to the outbreak of this virus. After his call, the entire industry has canceled all the releases and shoots. He also donated more than 1.5 crores for the CM relief funds and for the welfare of the cinema daily wage workers. In fact, Chiru also appreciated other stars who have donated for the good cause during these tough times.
A couple of days back, Chiru has setup the Corona Crisis Charity fund to help the daily wage workers of Tollywood. He, along with
Nagarjuna,
Sai Dharam Tej, and
Varun Tej, has acted in a special song composed by Koti for this CCC fund. Thus, it definitely looks like Chiru has now become the new Dasari for the Telugu film industry.
