Kalyani Priyadarshan started her career working as an assistant production designer for the film Krrish 3. She made her acting debut with the 2017 Telugu film Hello opposite Akhil Akkineni. Since then she has appeared in several films. Kalyani Priyadarshan was last seen in the film Varane Avashyamund. The film marked her Malayalam debut. The comedy-drama also starred the actors Suresh Gopi, Shobana and Dulquer Salmaan. She will next appear in four films. She will appear in the Malayalam films Marakkar: Arabikandalinte Simham and Hridayam. Marakkar : Arabikandalinte Simham is a historical epic film directed by Kalyani's father Priyadarshan. The film was to hit the theatres in March. However, owing to the coronavirus pandemic, the release date now stands postponed. Hridayam is a romance drama that features Pranav Mohanlal in the leading role alongside Kalyani. She will also star in the Tamil action thriller film Mannaadu which stars Simbu in the leading role. Kalyani will also appear as a part of the ensemble cast of the film Vaan alongside Dulquer Salmaan, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kriti Kharbanda and Sneha.
