Actor Mammootty has completed the shooting of the new film "Kathal," directed by Jeo Baby. Mammootty himself was informed about this through social media. The actor noted that he enjoyed working with a very energetic team. Pictures of Mammootty and Jyothika serving food to their colleagues have also surfaced.
Kathal is Jyothika's Malayalam film after Jayaram's "Seethakalyanam." Kathal is Jyothika's first film with Mammootty as well. This is also the third film produced by Mammootty's company after the hit film Rorschach. The name of the character played by Mammootty in the film is Mathew Devasi.
Produced by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films, the film stars Lalu Alex, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandini, Sudhi Kozhikode, Anagha Aku, Josie Sijo, Adarsh Sukumaran, and others in lead roles. Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria have written the script for the film.
