Mohanlal's Drishyam 2 trailer is out

Malayalam film Drishyam, which released in 2013, became one of the best thrillers of all time. The film became a stupendous success in Malayalam and got remade in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Chinese as well. Eight years later, the sequel to Drishyam is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video directly. The trailer of Drishyam 2 released on February 6 amid much fanfare. The story of Drishyam 2 begins from where Drishyam ended. Drishyam 2 will release on the OTT platform on February 19 after skipping the theatrical r release.

Mohanlal wrote, "With Drishyam 2, we aim to take this legacy forward and accomplish a new cinematic milestone. Drishyam 2 isn’t just a good-versus-evil crime thriller. It is an immersive story about Georgekutty and his family and the emotional journey he goes through to save them, at any cost. Over the last few years, viewers have written into us with so many theories. I am happy to say that we will now finally dispel all theories and answer all questions with the sequel. I am glad that we are premiering Drishyam 2 on Amazon Prime Video which will give viewers across the globe an opportunity to watch the movie from the comfort of their homes, along with their families."
