The whole world is currently fighting against the deadly coronavirus. People are under quarantine. They are not coming out of their houses. Everyone is maintaining social distance in order to stop the spread of the diseases. Recently, Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi announced a 21-day lockdown of the country. Meanwhile, the state governments are also urging people to follow the guidelines and help them to fight the disease. The government of Odisha has roped in Bollywood star Salman Khan to spread awareness on the issue. It has made a special video featuring Salman in which the actor asks people to follow the rules and stay safe.
In this video, Salman Khan says he was recently in the Odisha for his film's shoot. He urged people to follow the instructions of the government. He said that that will help the government in fighting against the coronavirus. He also added that when we can take care of ourselves, we can take care of others. The Dabangg actor mentioned that it is a matter of just a few days. He assured that if we are careful now, then things will get back to the normal stage very soon.
A few days back, Government of Telangana did a similar campaign with hero Vijay Deverakonda. Now, other stars like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Jr NTR and Ram Charan have also done video campaigns to bring awareness among the people.
On the film front, Salman is currently waiting for the release of his next film Radhe. Directed by Prabhu Deva, Radhe is planning to hit the screens on May 22nd on the occasion of Eid.
