Pooja Hegde is currently one of the most happening actresses in the Telugu film industry. By scoring consecutive hits with Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, Maharshi, Gaddalakonda Ganesh and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, she has become the numero uno actress of the industry. Meanwhile, one thing Pooja didn't do till now in her career is a female-oriented film. If the ongoing grapevine is anything to go by, she is all set to act in a lady oriented film soon. Noted director Hanu Raghavapudi will helm this project.
According to the sources, Hanu has recently narrated a script to Pooja and the latter has liked it immensely. On top of that, it is a female-oriented subject. That made Pooja say OK for it immediately. More details on this film will be out soon.
Hanu Raghavapudi made his debut with the 2012 film Andala Rakshasi. It was a decent hit at the box office. He scored a big success with his second film Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha. But he failed to sustain that momentum as his next two films, Lie and Padi Padi Leche Manasu have bombed badly at the box office. He is now planning to bounce back hard with this new film.
On the other hand, Pooja became busier after the success of Ala...Vaikunthapurramuloo. She is currently awaiting the release of Most Eligible Bachelor which features Akhil Akkineni as the lead. She is also acting alongside Prabhas in the latter's upcoming film. Pooja also signed the film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali in which she will act as the love interest of Salman Khan.
