SS Rajamouli Responds To Allegations Of Portraying Britons As Villains In 'RRR.'

'RRR,' the latest Tollywood film has created a sensation across India. The film was directed by SS Rajamouli and stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the major roles. It was released in March and grossed over Rs.1200 crores at the global box office. The film is being seen and appreciated by both Indians and foreigners.

However, some Britons claimed they were represented as villains in 'RRR.' Rajamouli addressed the issue lately during an interview with foreign media. A British guy played the film's antagonist. Rajamouli stated that just because a British person was portrayed as a villain did not imply that all British people were villains. If the audience had thought that way, he believes 'RRR' would not have been a success in London.

It was predicted that 'RRR' would be nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards presentation. 'RRR' was not nominated, much to everyone's surprise. However, there is a chance that 'RRR' will enter the Oscar race. Variance Films, the film's US distributor, requested that the Academy view the film. They asked the jury to vote for 'RRR' to be nominated in all categories at the Oscars.
