Life has come a full circle for composer SS Thaman. He made his debut as an actor with director Shankar's Boys, which was released in 2003. The film which starred Siddharth and Genelia became a blockbuster hit. However, after Boys, Thaman shifted his concentration towards music. He composed some of the best foot-tapping numbers fin the Tamil and Telugu film industries. After Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo, Thaman's fame rose sky high. Now, Thaman has been signed on to score music for director Shankar's film, which introduced him to the cinema. Thaman took to social media to announce the same and spoke about his dream getting fulfilled.
