Ram Charan's 2018 movie Rangasthalam was a major blockbuster at the box office. At that time, it remained a non-Baahubali industry hit of Tollywood. Now, plans are on for its Tamil remake. It seems that Raghava Lawrence in consideration to play the lead role in this movie.
The plans of remaking Rangasthalam in Tamil are going on for a long time. It looks like it is going to materialize soon. An official update about Lawrence's inclusion will get made once the actor signs the dotted lines. Directed by Sukumar, Rangasthalam's story deals with the elections happen in a village. The plot is set in the era of the 1980s. Samantha Akkineni played the female lead in it. Aadhi Pinishetty, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, and Anasuya Bharadwaj played the other important roles in it. Upon its release, Rangasthalam got unanimous positive reviews from the viewers and became a massive blockbuster at the box office. Ram Charan got a lot of praise for his acting in the film. Raghava Lawrence has recently directed the film Laxmmi Bomb. Starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, this movie will release directly on Disney+Hotstar. Lawrence has also signed the sequel of Chandramukhi. P. Vasu, who directed the original, will also helm this second part as well.
