Local body elections in Andhra Pradesh are having major consequences. Politically local bodies polls have seen a big uproar. Another key evolution took place this time. In most constituencies of the ruling party YCP, MLA's and ministers have been a hot spark. Two ministers of the YCP were ready to resign. They are Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and Mopidevi Venkataramana.
Recently Jagan elected both of them to the Rajya sabha. It was against this backdrop that they were ready to resign. Mopidevi lost his seat in the Rapalley constituency and was Pilli Subash Chandrabose defeated in Mandapeta. Since they are very close to Jagan, Jagan gave them the MLC positions and taken them into the Cabinet.
Now they are resigning ... With the dissolution of the Legislative Council, their MLC memberships will be cancelled. They are the closest to Jagan. With this, Jagan is ready to send them to the Rajya Sabha. They were elected to the Rajya Sabha along with Parimal Natwani, who has been recommended by Mukesh Ambani, as well as Ayodhya Ramareddy, who lost the 2014 elections.
It is interesting to see who will replace them with the vacant ministries in the wake of the two members now resigning as ministers. There are a lot of discussions going on in the YCP cadre about these two ministries. Jagan is in dilemma in allocating these two ministries to the seniors at his party. There is a possibility that MLA Vidathala Rajini from Chilakaluripeta and MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, who won from the Macharla, will be in the cabinet. The official announcement is yet to be announced.
