Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here and congratulated him on being re-elected for a second term.

Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Saturday held a meeting with the Chief Ministers of states ruled by the Congress and allied parties ahead of the crucial Niti Aayog meeting.

They discussed the proposed agenda and issues of the Congress and Congress+ allies governed states that will be taken up with PM Narendra Modi in the Governing Council meeting.

Congress leaders Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy, and Puducherry CM V Narayansamy and Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel attended the meeting at the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
