NCSC To Take Action Against Hindi Bigg Boss Contestant For Caste Abuse?

Reports indicate that action may be taken against Hindi Bigg Boss season 16 on account of caste abuse. Reportedly, this will be against another contestant in the program. The incident took place on Wednesday's episode. Reportedly, National Scheduled Caste Commission (NCSC) has demanded action against Vikas Manaktala.

Allegedly, Vikas Manaktala racially abused fellow contestant Archana Gautham in Wednesday's episode. The National Scheduled Castes Commission has issued notices to the Maharashtra government, the state police, the Ministry of Broadcasting, and show producers Enramol India Pvt Ltd, Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd, and Colors TV in the matter.

Archana Gautam contested the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections on a Congress ticket and lost. According to the NCSC notice, the remark made in the program is an offense punishable under the Indian Penal Code and the SC and ST Act. An inquiry will be conducted using the powers of the commission under Article 338. The notice asks for action to be taken in the matter within seven days.

Wednesday's episode of Bigg Boss shows an argument between Archana and Vikas. A dispute over cooking in the kitchen led to the fight.

Archana was angry with Vikas for interrupting her cooking. This led to a big fight. Meanwhile, Vikas made the caste reference. With this, Archana angrily knocked over a pot full of water. With this, Big Boss poured water all over the kitchen, and so on. With this, the other members tried to calm them both down.
