Writer and actor Chaitra Kapoor who got popular with Bigg Boss TV reality show is all set to make her directorial debut with a satirical comedy film. Chaitra Kapoor always had a promising talent in her and she has been waiting to make the debut as a director for a long time. After impressing everyone with her presence on the Bigg Boss TV show, Chaitra Kapoor has been working round the clock on her debut film script. She finally completed it and gearing up to begin the same now.
It seems like Chaitra is going to touch some serious issues like casteism, toilet facilities and lack of shelter for the poor in the film. She wanted to touch a relevant topic for this film and has been getting ready to begin the movie. "Becoming a director has always been my plan. But I didn't want to make a commercial flick. So, I decided that my journey as a filmmaker will begin with a subject that can bring a change in the way people think about social issues. Instead of being preachy, I wanted to present them in the satirical format" said Chaitra about her debut film, as a director.
According to the reports, the major portions of the movie will get shot in Bengaluru city and the outskirts. Bhoomi Shetty recently signed to be a part of this project. Chaitra also roped in Shine Shetty for this film. The other details about the crew will come out soon. Stay tuned to us!
