The sequel to director James Cameron's all-time record creating film Avatar, Avatar 2, was released recently all around the world. The film was also released in Telugu, and here are the Telugu states' collections for 20 days.
Avatar was released way back in 2009. The film was directed by James Cameron, and it went on to become the highest grossing film of all time, and no film has ever been able to beat its collections so far.
The sequel for Avatar, Avatar 2: The Way of Water, was released 20 days ago. There was a lot of buzz surrounding the film. Owing to the film's popularity in India, the film was released in several Indian languages, including in Telugu. The film is doing extremely well in the Telugu states. Avatar 2 is doing extremely well at the worldwide box office, already having emerged as the highest grosser of the world, for the year 2022. The film has more sequels, with director James Cameron revealing that he would be exploring the fire people of Avatar in the third film.
James Cameron also said that the fire people of Avatar would show the bad side of the species, and that it would be interesting to explore that aspect, as only the good side of the Avatar people has been explored so far. The third part of Avatar is set to be released on 20th December 2024. The film has already been shot, with extensive CGI and post-production work currently underway. There are good expectations on this film as well.
