Star actor Ajay Devgn is best known for his intense and action-oriented films. There are many landmark films in Ajay's nearly three-decade-old career. Recently, the actor came up with his 100th film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. Directed by Om Raut, this film is the biopic of unsung Maratha warrior Tanhaji.
Ajay Devgn's wife Kajol and popular actor Saif Ali Khan played the other lead roles in this film. The film had hit the screens on the 10th of this month and gained positive reports right from day one. The inspiring story of the Maratha warrior has impressed the audience and the result is the theatres are running into housefuls. Maharashtra Tourism is also using this film to promote its tourism campaigns.
Today, the movie also crossed the prestigious 100 crore mark and has become a memorable 100th film for Ajay Devgn. As today is the only sixth day of its release, Tanhaji will get more numbers in the coming days as well. Bollywood trade pundits predicted that the film might end up as the first super hit of 2020. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak, which released on the same day, is failing to give any competition to Tanhaji. The film is jointly produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
