Paagal Box Office Collection - Pre-Release Business

Directed by debutante Naressh Kuppili, Paagal hit the silver screens today. The film features Vishwak Sen and Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead roles.

As per our sources, Paagal has registered fairly decent pre-release business. The film’s satellite rights were sold for Rs 1.5 crores and the Hindi dubbing rights fetched another Rs 1.5 crores. The digital rights were acquired by Amazon Prime for Rs 3.5 crores. The audio rights fetched another Rs 50 lakh. The official TV premieres and digital premieres dates will be officially announced in the near future. The non-theatrical rights alone have fetched Rs 7 crores which is a pretty impressive number for a film, starring a budding actor in the lead role. The good pre-release buzz seems to have done the trick for the film. Paagal is one of the mainstream Telugu releases post the Covid second wave. The makers seem to have recovered a big chunk of the investment from the non-theatrical release. Paagal features Vishwak Sen, Nivetha Pethuraj, Simran Chaudhary, and Meghaleka in the lead roles. Radhan scores the music for the comedy-drama. Dil Raju produced the film and Manikandan handled the cinematography.
